SPECTRUM SELECTRUM

I received my official letter from SPECTRUM the other day notifying me which of my entered illustrations were selected for publication and I thought I'd post them here. The book itself won't drop until sometime in the fall. I'm quite excited to get my copy, not only because this is the first year I'll be published, but it's always a thrill to look through an entire year's worth of fantastic illustration.

The pieces selected were:
GORILLA VS. OCTOPUS: STREET FIGHT!

and
PAC-SAMURAI

Ah man, awesome. Congrats! Hey is there a site that tells you the submission dates for all the publications? Society, Spectrum, CMYK, etc...?

Congrats. That's awesome. I meant to tell you by the way, that I was reading a story on the front page of digg.com a while back that linked to your Pac Samurai drawing. I thought the illustration was cool, but never knew it was actually yours until some time later. I thought it was way cool that it was yours =)

Of course the pac-samurai was in. I like the gorilla/ octopus
one a lot too. I think it is cool that the gorilla is using the
street signs and lights to fight.

Fantastic! Yeah, I figured the PacMac was in (though I didn't know which ones you submitted - but I thought it was probably in the mix) and the Gorilla vs. Octopus is one of my favorites, so I'm glad its in there too. Spectrum will be here shortly after it shows up in the states.
Congratulations, man. I'm really happy for you. Hopefully this will boost business too!

Alejandro -- thanks. As for the submission dates, you just gotta check the respective websites and either get on mailing lists or find the faq page.

Paul -- you did good. I know, "comments" are hard.
